Synthetic (polyester) fabrics can be cut with a hot knife and welded or stitched to finish but should be pre-tested for welding compatibility. Certain jobs may also require fabrics to be properly reinforced for grommeting. Additionally, care should be taken when stitching silicone gaskets for frame systems.
