The type of materials required for healthcare and safety applications include 100% cotton, polyester/cotton blends, 100% polyester and non-woven polyester fabrics. Aurora can apply finishes to these fabrics including anti-microbial, anti-wick, water repellant, anti-static, soil release, shrink resistant, crease resistant, and fire resistant treatments. For the personal safety market our fabrics are primarily used in safety vests, masks, and disposable wipes. Our treated fabrics can also be used in the healthcare market for white lab coats, gowns, and cubicle curtains.
